1. Install

Open the disk image and drag Setlist Organiser to Applications, eject the disk image, then open the app from Applications. Don't run it from inside the disk image: updates and the Pro Tools plug-in install won't work from there. It needs an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later.

2. Licence codes

Without a licence the app runs in twenty-minute demo sessions. When a session ends, playback, timecode and networking stop until you relaunch. So activate before you use it for anything real.

Each code below takes 100% off at checkout. Each one can only be used a limited number of times, so please use only the ones you need.

Use the same email address for every purchase. The tools and Encorly Anywhere then unlock on their own at the next licence check. If you used a different address, paste each key in by hand (on a tool’s page: Enter licence key…).

Setlist Organiser (the app)

Encorly Anywhere (Companion over the internet)

In the app: Settings ▸ Network ▸ Buy monthly…, then enter the code at checkout.

Please read: checkout asks for a card because Encorly Anywhere is a subscription. Nothing is charged for the first three months. After that it renews at the normal price, $9.99 a month, unless you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings ▸ Network ▸ Manage subscription… or from the link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt email. Prices in US dollars. VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.

The Tools tab appears when the app is connected to Pro Tools, or to Reaper with the bridge installed (see below).

3. DAW setup

In the app, the DAW settings are under Settings ▸ DAW. Only the section for your DAW matters.

  • Pro Tools

    The quickest way is the panel plug-in. It installs itself when the app launches; if it does not, go to Settings ▸ DAW ▸ Pro Tools Panel Plug-in ▸ Install. Quit and reopen Pro Tools once, then insert Setlist Organiser Panel on any track (Other category). The app now follows Pro Tools with no MIDI or timecode setup. Can't use the plug-in? In Pro Tools choose Setup ▸ Peripherals… ▸ Synchronization and set MTC Generator to “Setlist Organiser MTC”. Help ▸ DAW Setup Assistant… walks you through either. Smart Link needs Pro Tools 2023 or later; earlier versions fall back to keyboard control.

  • Reaper

    Quit Reaper, then in the app click Settings ▸ DAW ▸ Reaper ▸ Install Bridge. Open Reaper, go to Preferences ▸ Control/OSC/web ▸ Add ▸ OSC and set: local listen port 8000, device IP 127.0.0.1, device port 9000.

  • Logic Pro

    In Logic, open Logic Pro ▸ Settings ▸ MIDI ▸ Sync. Tick Listen to MMC Input, and tick Transmit MTC to the IAC bus. In the app, tick Settings ▸ MIDI ▸ Enable MMC transport control and pick the same IAC bus as the MMC output.

  • Bitwig Studio

    In the app, click Settings ▸ DAW ▸ Bitwig ▸ Install Extension. Then enable it in Bitwig under Settings ▸ Controllers.

  • The Companion on your phone

    Open Window ▸ Show Companion QR Code… and scan it with your phone or tablet. Both need to be on the same Wi-Fi. That part is free; Encorly Anywhere is only for connecting from another network.

4. Updates

New betas arrive inside the app. It tells you when one is ready, or you can check yourself with Help ▸ Check for Updates…. Your setlists and settings carry over.

5. Reporting a problem

Use Help ▸ Report a Problem…. It builds a diagnostics ZIP and shows it in Finder. Licence keys, tokens and email addresses are removed from the logs before the ZIP is made. It can also open an email to support@encorly.com. Attach the ZIP and tell us:

  • What you did
  • What you expected to happen
  • What happened instead
  • Your DAW and its version

6. Known issues

We know about these. No need to report them, but do tell us if they hit you in a way not described here.

  • Reordering rows with STOP markers hidden

    Dragging rows to reorder while STOP markers are hidden can drop them in the wrong place, and it cannot be undone. Show STOP markers before you reorder.

  • Go to marker from the phone

    Tapping a marker on the phone sometimes needs a second tap before the app goes there.

  • Play button on a second Mac

    With two Macs linked, the phone’s play button can flicker when the phone is connected to the second (follower) Mac.

  • Stem Bouncer on Pro Tools

    Pick a source track before you bounce. Bounce Range does not work on Pro Tools yet.
