Pro Tools runs the show. Encorly runs Pro Tools.
Setlist Organiser turns the markers already in your DAW session into a navigable, timecode-locked setlist with a performance-grade display, pad triggering and remote control from a mobile device. Control it from inside Pro Tools, from a device on the LAN, or from a device anywhere in the world, should you wish.
Everything on this page is in the app today. Some Encorly Tools require a separate subscription.

Who it is for
- Everyone who uses a DAW to control their show or cue list for concerts, TV productions and shows
- A setlist multi tool for managing and controlling live performances.
- Show callers, stage managers and broadcast operators running a DAW session.
How it works
The session itself is never touched unless you ask.
- Pro Tools connects on its own the moment it launches, or choose your DAW from the dropdown to switch over.
- Import the markers. Groups become the setlist; Super Groups, groups within a group, become the running order.
- Name a marker “stop” and the transport stops there. Name markers “Group Encore” and “Group end” and the setlist builds itself in one click.
- Run the show from Show Mode, the Grid, a MIDI controller or a mobile device.
Pro Tools: the deepest integration
Built on Avid’s PTSL scripting API. Real session data, no keystroke faking, no stolen focus.
- Knows when a session opens, closes or is created, and offers to open the linked setlist or import the new markers in one step.
- Auto-connects when Pro Tools launches, survives sleep and wake, and never drops the connection.
- Play-on-Recall defence: a deliberate play is never interrupted.
- Works with older Pro Tools versions.
Pro Tools in-window panel
The marker panel lives inside the Pro Tools window as an AAX plugin.
- Tap a row to locate. Search, rename and reorder without leaving Pro Tools.
- Import, Rescan and Push buttons right there in the session.
- Spacebar plays and stops from the panel.
- Buttons work even when Pro Tools is not the frontmost app.
- Installs itself into the Avid Plug-Ins folder from the app.
Reaper, Logic Pro and Bitwig
- Reaper: OSC transport with two-way feedback, plus the Setlist Bridge for marker read and write, sample-accurate locate, session info. Installed and updated from inside the app.
- Reaper: drop a marker at the playhead from the app, the Mini Bar, a phone, a key or a MIDI pad. A latching loop button in Show Mode that reflects Reaper’s real state.
- Logic Pro: MMC transport and locate-to-timecode with session offset handled, play after locate, optional OSC feedback. Markers import from an AIFF bounce or a Standard MIDI File.
- Bitwig Studio: bundled extension for transport, locate to marker and marker import, plus true arranger loop control on a rolling transport. Only possible on Bitwig.
- Any DAW: locate with the DAW closed and the app launches it for you.
- A first-run Setup Assistant that finishes by watching for live timecode, so you know the connection actually works before the gig.
Show Mode
Clearly displayed current marker with the coming up next marker underneath. Readable at a glance when the pressure is on.
- Fixed-width timecode digits. No jitter, no jumping.
- Frame-accurate animated progress bar.
- A green ready-to-play underline shows at a glance that the marker is located, armed and ready before timecode rolls.
- VID and NOTE badges when the current marker carries a video or a cue note.
- Big focus-proof transport: Previous, Play, Stop, Next, Loop, Panic Stop.
- Follow Source: Auto, Groups or Super Groups, with pinning and a “Start at” marker.
- Total time readout that cycles Total, Elapsed and Remaining on a click.
- Works as a tab or as a floating window, fullscreen or always on top.
Stops, loops and transport intelligence
Stop markers: auto-stop with a live countdown and progress bar to the stop.
- Two Pro Tools stop modes: App-Managed, or DAW-Managed with the ruler selection as visual feedback that the marker is armed to stop.
- Auto-advance to the next marker after a stop.
- Auto-Loop regions from markers named Loop In and Loop Out. Sample-accurate native looping on Reaper and Bitwig, app-driven on Pro Tools.
- Auto Play after every locate, if you want it.
- DAW mismatch dialog with one-click “Switch to Pro Tools” that retries the action.
Grid View
Pad grid of markers in 4×4, 8×2, 2×4, 3×3, 2×2 or any custom size, from the current group or all markers.
- Bank paging that follows the current marker automatically.
- The current pad turns green with a live progress bar along its edge.
- Pads show name, timecode, time to stop and marker number. Colour by group, by type, from a palette or your own picker.
- Keys 1 to 9, 0, minus and equals fire pads 1 to 12. Bracket keys change banks. All remappable.
- MIDI Learn on the pad itself: assign a hardware pad or CC without leaving the tab.
Timecode and floating windows
On Pro Tools, the panel plug-in keeps the app following with no MIDI or timecode setup. For every DAW, MTC works too. Auto-detects 24, 25, 29.97 drop and 30 fps.
- Three ways in: the app’s own “Setlist Organiser MTC” virtual port that appears directly in Pro Tools’ port list, any MIDI input, or network sync from another Mac.
- Holds lock over network MIDI and straight after a locate.
- MMC output: Start, Stop and Locate with configurable device ID, drop-frame aware.
- Large Timecode window for the stage or the operator.
- Progress Timer window: a huge auto-scaling countdown with a progress bar behind the digits.
- Mini Control Bar: an always-on-top strip that floats over the DAW with current marker, progress, transport and nudge or jog for rehearsal.
- Quick Add Markers with MTC capture: grab the live timecode as a new marker’s location.
Building the setlist
Groups for setlists, Super Groups for acts, segments or cue lists. A marker can live in several groups and stays in sync everywhere.
- Section headers such as “Act 1” and “Encore” with their own colour, excluded from timing maths.
- Create many groups at once, rename by double-click, reorder with keys, copy and paste whole groups, drag markers between groups.
- Column-aware editing: double-click the name to rename, the location to retime, the number to renumber, the note to annotate.
- Marker proximity warning highlights markers closer than 250 ms and names the clash.
- The Play column displays a live progress cell during playback.
- Auto-Group: name markers “Group Song Title” and “Group end” in the DAW and press one button. The whole setlist is built, and it is one undo step.
- 36 undoable operation types. Every edit, auto-group and rescan can be undone, and the Edit menu names what it will undo.
- Templates: save a set of Groups or Super Groups and merge them into any future session.
- Any tab pops out into its own window with a double-click.
- Very large sessions are Setlist Organiser’s bread and butter.
Marker sync with the DAW
Marker transfer is always explicit and under your control.
- Import from DAW pulls every marker with full metadata.
- Rescan and Sync shows a diff preview, Will delete, Will update, Will add, with per-row veto, applied as one undoable batch.
- Markers to Absolute and Markers to Bar|Beat convert Pro Tools marker references both ways, losslessly, against the session’s real tempo map, ramps included. Dry-run mode.
Import and export
Instant import of markers via Smart Link direct connection to Pro Tools.
- Import Pro Tools marker text exports in Samples, Timecode, Bars|Beats or mixed formats. Drop the file straight from Finder.
- Import Reaper CSV, Reaper project files directly, Logic AIFF markers and Standard MIDI File markers.
- PDF setlists with configurable columns, song numbers, durations, time to stop, notes, header and footer templates, total set time and song count.
- CSV and re-importable JSON for a group, all groups or all shows.
Never lose the show
- Auto-save every two minutes with rotating recovery snapshots and crash recovery on open.
- Timestamped backups on every save.
- Session Bundles pack the session and every attached video into one folder, so the show moves between machines without broken media paths.
- Link a Pro Tools or Reaper session to the setlist and the DAW session opens with it. Moved sessions are relocated gracefully.
Remote control from any phone or tablet
The web companion is served by the app itself. Open it in any browser on the network or add it to the home screen. Nothing to install from an app store.
- Pair by scanning a QR code. The app picks the right network interface automatically. A connected phone can pass the QR on to the next person.
- Four views: Markers, Show Mode, Grid and Setlist, mirroring the desktop, with the current row following playback and a “STOP in” countdown.
- Search markers, groups and super groups in one box. Tap a result and the DAW locates there.
- Edit from the phone: rename, remove, insert a section header, long-press to drag and reorder.
- Transport with haptic feedback, screen wake-lock and a reconnect that never gives up.
- Remote control is off by default. Viewing is always safe. Pairing tokens are on by default.
Encorly Anywhere: control from any network
Subscription add-onHotel WiFi with client isolation, phones on cellular, a different network entirely. It works anywhere.
- The desktop dials out to the Encorly relay. No port forwarding, no router changes, nothing to configure at the venue.
- The phone connects securely from wherever it is, with the same commands, timecode and markers as on the LAN.
- LAN mode is untouched and always included. Anywhere is a small subscription because it runs on servers.
Main rig and backup rig
Two Macs running the same show, discovered over Bonjour in seconds or paired with a pasted link.
- Host and Follower roles, or Auto. Marker moves and setlist navigation mirror across both machines.
- Optional Play and Stop mirroring from any control, on either machine, off by default.
- Pull or push the session between machines with a permission policy.
- Sits on top of your DAW sync, whether SYNC HD, LTC or Satellite Link. It starts both rigs together and keeps the operators looking at the same thing.
- Network Diagnostics shows ports, peers, permissions and a live log, with one-click restart.
- One licence covers both machines.
Video
- Attach a video to any marker with per-marker settings.
- A dedicated Video Output window plays it locked to MTC.
- Panic Stop stops video too.
MIDI control
- Map any note or CC to transport, navigation, grid banks, pad selection or Reaper marker drop.
- Controller Manager, MIDI monitor and human-readable mapping tooltips.
- MIDI control and MTC ports are kept clearly apart.
- Tempo Map: beat detection from a click, drum stem or full mix into a MIDI tempo map for Pro Tools, Reaper or Logic. Dense, Sparse or Segmented, which splits a long recording into separate songs.
- Tempo Map: optional beat-trigger MIDI notes for lighting desks, beats CSV and a zoomable waveform preview.
- Place STOP Markers after every song automatically.
- Stem Bouncer for batch stem bounces on Pro Tools and Reaper.
- Label Regions, Region Cutter, Regions to Markers, Clear Markers, Setlist.txt Namer and more, each with in-app What, How and Tips help.
Encorly Tools, the paid line
Marketplace- Region Durations: the true played length of every region on a Pro Tools track, what the director actually hears, with a director-ready PDF grouped by setlist and CSV export.
- Section Transfer: move a multitrack section between and within a Pro Tools session and to or from Reaper, in any direction. Clip boundaries, markers and tempo carried along, per-track mapping, missing tracks created, and the destination DAW’s Undo reverts it.
AI Session Assistant
Ask Pro Tools in plain English: bounce all selected markers to a selected location, count the songs, place stop markers, bounce stems per song, verify the audio landed.
- 53 live-verified session operations, all listed in the documentation. Destructive steps are confirmed. Every reply shows its audit trail.
- Pay-as-you-go credits, no subscription.
