How the licence behaves

Written out plainly, because the way a licence behaves matters more than the price when the doors open in twenty minutes.

  • It will never block you on show day

    Activation is the only step that needs the internet. After that there is a long offline grace period. A venue with no network, a machine deliberately in aeroplane mode, a card that expired last week: none of them stop the app opening.

  • Two machines, because that is how a rig is built

    One licence covers your main machine and your backup. You do not need to buy the redundancy twice.

  • Year one includes feature updates

    Everything released in the first twelve months is yours.

  • After year one, nothing breaks

    The app keeps running, permanently, on the last version you were entitled to. Renewing at $79–$99 a year buys continued feature updates. Decline it and you keep what you have, working, for as long as macOS runs it.

  • Bug fixes are always free

    A fix to a version you own is not a feature update and is never behind a renewal.

Can I have an invoice?

Yes. An invoice is issued automatically on purchase and is suitable for a production company or an accountant.

Can my employer or production company buy it for me?

Yes. Email support@encorly.com if you need a quote, a purchase order or several licences.

What if it does not do what I need?

Find out before you pay. The trial is the full application with no expiry date, so you can build a real show, run a real rehearsal and only then decide. If something is wrong after you have bought it, email support. It is one person and it gets read.

Can I get a refund?

Is my machine locked to the licence?

The licence is activated on up to two machines. If you replace a machine, email support and it will be moved.
